Compilers and Interpreters
The first large-scale compiler I wrote was ORCA/Pascal, an ISO standard Pascal compiler. This compiler became one of the most popular programming languages ever on the Apple IIGS.Once again, my role was developing the compiler itself and the runtime libraries. Good Pascal test suites were available when ORCA/Pascal was written; we used the standard test suite for ISO compilers, passing it easily.
