In the early 1990's I was approached by Roger Wagner and asked to develop a scripting language for HyperStudio, a multimedia development tool for the K-12 education market. I designed, tested, documented and implemented HyperLogo, which is still used in this popular authoring tool.HyperLogo, written in portable ANSI C, was eventually ported to the Macintosh, Windows, and Apple IIGS platforms. It continues to serve the education community to this day with very little customer support for bugs or even maintenance as the operating systems change.
Over the years I worked closely and smoothly with a team of programmers, handling all of the scripting language related issues in HyperStudio.
HyperLogo helped HyperStudio dominate the K-12 multimedia authoring tool market. At one time HyperStudio was, by some measures, the top selling program in the K-12 market. It s still a strong seller today.
